Speech and language therapy involves the assessment and treatment of
speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication and
swallowing disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. We use
holistic and evidence-based interventions involving patients and
families, educators and teachers and other primary caregivers in the
therapeutic and educational process. The aim of intervention is to
improve functional communication and independence skills.
